FIGHTING CHANCE PRODUCTIONS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COURTNEY HADDIX (VICE-PRESIDENT): Courtney has been a fan of the performing arts since she was a kid. In her off time you would find her taking voice lessons twice a week, trying every type of dance imaginable (emphasis on the trying part) and spending her summers doing musical theatre camps. While she grew away from performing herself, her love of the arts has never dwindled. Courtney joined the board in 2015 following a chance meeting with then Artistic Director Ryan Mooney. She can be found volunteering, travelling and doing happy hour tours around the city in her spare time.

KELLY RAYTER (TREASURER): Kelly has served on the Board of Fighting Chance since 2011. She was immediately appointed Treasurer, no doubt based on her extensive experience in that capacity on a number of community and non-profit boards. She gave up the dream of chartered accountancy and lion taming (because she did not have the hat) after graduating with her bachelor’s degree in commerce, and became a lawyer instead. Kelly currently practices law as in-house counsel for a large local government, where she advises on a wide range of complex issues including governance, enforcement, finance and privacy. A lover of the Arts, her first stage role was as a Munchkin. In red leotards. And a green satin skirt and vest. It was the 70’s. An amateur singer of some note, she remembers the words to every song she has ever heard. She is grateful to be able to bring her disparate interests and talents to Fighting Chance, whose purpose is to provide opportunities for new and young artists who have the courage to pursue their dreams.

A Lifetime Achievement Member of the C.T.C., Randy has been involved with the Canadian theater community and stage performance scene since 1957.
