In THE VIRGIN WARS we meet socially conscious teen Tracy who along with her four friends, travels the county dispersing information about celibacy, abstinence and how to avoid the dreaded STD. In THE GIRL ON THE

SCREEN a female journalist is asked to write an article about the women who work on internet porn sites. What she finds is not only shocking, but hilarious. In the final act JUMPIN’ THE Q is an American Idol style reality show in which the contestants are seeking the ultimate prize, a green card.

Jen 3 webJENNIFER SURATOS (DIRECTOR – THE VIRGIN WARS): Jenn is thrilled to be working on this musical threesome, alongside Nancy and Ben. She has directed for APPLAUSE! Musicals in Concert and Sketch Cafe Productions, and has assistant directed for both Fighting Chance Productions (Little Women, The Wedding Singer) and the Metro Theatre (Mother Goose). Jenn is an avid singer and performer. Recent onstage credits include Dynamite in Hairspray (TUTS), Sarah in Company (United Players), and Franny in Little Miss Glitz (Too Fly Productions). Jenn holds a Master’s Degree in Theatre Studies from UBC, where she also works as an Administrator in the Faculty of Arts. DSC_6943ERIN WALKER (CHOREOGRAPHER): Erin comes from the Comox Valley, and has been doing theatre ever since she can remember. Having acted, directed, musically directed, choreographed, stage managed, designed hair and makeup, and taught acting classes for youth, she has a lot of experience under her belt. ln her spare time, she does voice over work for Koba Entertainment and goes to Harry Potter events. She most recently played a tap dancing dinosaur in “Jurassic Parody” with Geekenders and before that she played Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray” at Theatre Under the Stars. This is Erin’s fifth Fighting Chance show, but her first time choreographing for the company.

Ben Bilodeau Headshot 2BEN BILODEAU (DIRECTOR – JUMPIN’ THE Q): Ben Bilodeau has spent the past few years as a Musical Theatre performer in Vancouver, and is now happily moving his career into the production side. Ben has Assistant Directed the productions of Darling: a New Musical by Springboard Theatre, and Into The Woods with Fighting Chance Productions. Ben has also created his own company, Ben Bilodeau Productions, to create strong work, and entertaining theatre, for all audiences. His first production will be All New Peopleby Zach Braff, January 2016.

JER HeadshotJEREMY HOFFMAN (MUSIC DIRECTOR): Jeremy is an award winning pianist and composer with a background in music performance coaching, music education, and acting for film & television. Growing up with a mixture of classical and folk influences, Jeremy achieved a Gold Medal for his ARCT in piano performance at the age of 15 and has since dabbled in numerous genres including pop, rock, jazz, ragtime, as well as 1920’s classic broadway. After several radio hits with a former pop punk band as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Jeremy has moved on to pursue a solo musical career. He has lent his musical skills throughout multiple venues in Vancouver & Los Angeles and has worked with various musicians including The Stereos, Hedley, and Bif Naked. Having only began working in the musical theatre world since 2014, Jeremy’s credits include Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Clue the Musical, HMS Pinafore, SUDS: A 50’s Rockin Musical, and Beauty & the Beast, LOCO+HERO+JOE, and The IT Girl. He is immensely excited to share the stage with the talented cast and crew of Fighting Chance Productions.

Nancy von EuwNANCY VON EUW (DIRECTOR – THE GIRL ON THE SCREEN) Nancy is excited to be directing THE GIRL ON THE SCREEN for Fighting Chance Productions. She is an FCP alumni appearing in bare:a pop opera as well as in the award winning Spring Awakening; she also assistant directed Carrie The Musical. Nancy received her BFA in Acting from the Conservatory of Theater Arts at Webster University in St Louis, Missouri and her Master’s Degree in International Administration from The School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Nancy is a seasoned actor on stage, in film and television. She is a voice over artist and owns her own coaching studio Acting Out. She has been a guest teacher at the LeBlanc School of Acting as well as Digital Sound and Magic. She is the co-founding Artistic Director of DramaNatrix Productions and co-produced and directed The IT Girl last fall to rave reviews. Nancy has directed for Forte Theatre Society, and will be directing Calendar Girls for Vagabond Players coming up in June, for DramaNatrix Productions in October and for Forte Theatre Society in November.
