Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing trio: Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. When misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., all hell breaks loose. When kids start dying no one will ever be the same. This hilarious musical, based on the classic 1989 film, is co-written by the writer of LEGALLY BLONDE and BAT BOY.

unnamedPETER YOUNG (SOUND DESIGN): Working in the entertainment industry for 30 years, Peter Young is one of Canada’s premier production entertainment specialists. Beginning his career as a studio engineer in 1986, Peter quickly discovered a passion for live sound and found himself immersed in Canada’s live music scene. He worked as a freelance sound engineer for numerous touring artists through the early 90s and fulfilled many demanding roles. One of his early achievements was as audio director for the 1994 Commonwealth Games Harbour Festival, an event drawing over 100,000 people per night over a two-week period. Always challenging himself to develop a diverse skill set, Peter partnered with production company FM Systems to launch and build the west coast division. This expanded growth made FM Systems one of Canada’s largest and most respected production sound companies at the turn of the millennium supporting events up to and beyond 100K in attendance. After a successful decade with FM, Peter sold his interest in the company allowing him to focus on emerging technologies in the live event market. This led to the 2005 launch of Vancouver-based Audio Image Canada whose focus was to provide world class production and audio design services to the ever-changing technology driven entertainment industry. With the advancement of technology for live recording, Peter also found himself immersed in his original passion for recording that originally introduced him to the music industry. AI’s live recording division, Audio Image Live, handled projects that included Nickelback’s “Live at Home” DVD, Joe Satriani’s “Live at the Grove” and Megadeth’s “That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires” DVD. Audio Image Live also recorded and offered live on-site recording & CD duplication for His Holiness the Dalai Lama at GM Place. Identifying the need for effective content distribution strategies in the new digital age, Peter took his diverse skill set and in 2008 founded Alive Drive Interactive (ADI), an internationally based interactive media company that specializes in content distribution and contextual direct-to-fan marketing. Committed to being an industry forward thinker, Peter broke new ground with ADI’s disruptive new media USB technology that drives revenues to the host while creating unique, ongoing media experiences to the fan. Value-added services of ADI include live recording, new media production and event consulting.  While ADI keep Peter active in the entertainment and corporate event sectors, he continues to be in demand for his sound design and live mixing talents particularly in live theatre. Recent productions include Spring Awakening and Into the Woods in which he was recognized with 2 CTC awards for best Sound Design. With a highly-respected reputation for successfully managing the sound reinforcement component to events across Canada and around the world, Peter Young continues to be considered an invaluable partner to have on any executive team. From the Oracle Open World in Shanghai to Midnight Oil in the middle of a clear-cut forest on Vancouver Island…from the Chieftains in the Antarctic to the White Stripes in the Arctic, Peter Young has just about done it all…but of course he is always up for a new challenge.
